What are Jiyo Dil Se Awards?

Jiyo Dil Se Awards is an attempt to identify & recognize the indomitable spirit of common man towards the betterment of society. The initiative took shape in 2013 and is moving forward in its ninth year. In the last 8 years, 231 winners rose to fame and became role models for our society. Today, into its ninth year, the initiative brought many underrated do-gooders in limelight. All of these were earlier unknown to our societies, until the Jiyo Dil Se Awards happened to them.

Every year we aim to honour individuals who stand apart from the crowd and become a source of inspiration for the whole nation. After eight very successful seasons, the Jiyo Dil Se Awards Season IX is back.



With 2020 being the year of pandemic and lockdown, how are this year’s awards different?

The 9th season comes at the backdrop when the world is recovering from a rude shock of the COVID-19 pandemic. The year 2020 witnessed the unprecedented human services done to save mankind by many individuals. It, therefore, becomes imperative to identify the saviors and recognize them in this year’s edition. In compliance with government advisories in many states, season 9 will be a digital edition.


Who can participate?

1- An Individual resident of India

2- Group of Individual not registered under any Indian law in any manner

3- Individuals or Group of individuals must not be backed by government or corporate funds.

Who cannot participate?

1- Corporates, Business Houses, Business Firms, NGOs, Government and Semi Government organization, or any registered body is not eligible

2- An individual who is a declared criminal or is facing any criminal conviction

3- All previous edition winners.

I was a participant but not a winner in any of the earlier seasons, can I participate?

Yes, participants who did not win in any of the earlier seasons can still participate

Which years’ work is being considered for Jiyo Dil Se Awards Season 9?

Participants must be actively involved in serving the society from Jan 2020 to Jan 2021.

Do I have to pay to participate?

There is no participation fee. Anyone asking for any kind fee must be shared with MY FM representative or MY FM Office immediately for an appropriate action.

What are the awards categories?

Awards are given out in eleven categories in below and the winner is been chosen from each category

  • Economic Welfare

Can I submit my entry in more than one category?

Participants can only submit their entry in one category only. Applying to more than one category leads to disqualification.

How can I participate?

1- You need to download the registration form from myfmindia.net/jiyodilseawards.

2- Fill the form completely will all requisite details and proofs.

3- Submit the form and documents at MY FM office

Can I submit my entry digitally?

Forms and documents must be submitted in a physical form either in person or through courier to MY FM Office

What are the registration dates?

Owing to repeated requests to extend the last date, now the last date of registration and submission of forms and documents is 26 Feb 2021.

Will there be an extension on last date of registration?

26 Feb 2021 is the last date of registration and a re-extension is not possible.

How are the awards judged?

  • A thorough background check will take place for all the entries check and any discrepancies found in background check will lead to disqualification.
  • An eminent jury panel will select the Top 18 finalists across MY FM stations
  • 3. Top 18 finalists will enter into a voting phase.
  • 4. On the basis of public voting, top 14 winners will be selected for Jiyo Dil Se Awards Season 9.

Will I have to travel to receive the award in case I become the winner?

As season 9 is a digital edition, the winner is only required to visit MY FM office in the respective cities to receive the award.
